Summer
Summer - the short, intense, magical season created and supported by our lakes. The vineyards act as patron saints to the region, blessing the land, attracting diverse visitors, and creating a sense of delighting in the fruits of the earth. These days it looks like eating locally and seasonally is the new trend. Interest in CSAs and farmers markets is changing the face of food marketing and resources are showing up in many places, making our job here easier. Here is a good resource from the Food Network - Farm Stand Produce.
